Description

A quick and easy recipe for a tender beef tenderloin cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb / 450 g beef tenderloin
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp thyme (fresh or dried)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Rub the marinade over the beef tenderloin.
  4. Place the marinated beef in the air fryer basket, making sure there is space around it.
  5. Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 18-21 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
  6. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer.
  7. Remove from the air fryer once cooked and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Slice the beef against the grain and serve immediately.

Notes

For stronger herb flavor, let the beef sit with the seasoning for 30 minutes in the fridge. Do not crowd the air fryer basket.
