Ingredients
- 1 package (14 oz) Lit’l Smokies (cocktail sausages)
- 1 lb Bacon (regular cut)
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire cooling rack on top.
- Cut each slice of bacon into thirds.
- Wrap each piece of bacon around a cocktail sausage, securing it with a toothpick.
- Dredge each wrapped sausage in brown sugar.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the sugar is caramelized.
- Cool for 5 minutes and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle cayenne or black pepper on top of the brown sugar before baking. Broil for a minute or two for a crispier finish.
