Description

A crowd-pleasing snack that combines sweet and smoky flavors, perfect for parties or family fun.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 oz) Lit’l Smokies (cocktail sausages)
  • 1 lb Bacon (regular cut)
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire cooling rack on top.
  3. Cut each slice of bacon into thirds.
  4. Wrap each piece of bacon around a cocktail sausage, securing it with a toothpick.
  5. Dredge each wrapped sausage in brown sugar.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the sugar is caramelized.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle cayenne or black pepper on top of the brown sugar before baking. Broil for a minute or two for a crispier finish.
