Description
Enjoy the flavors of buffalo chicken wings in a convenient taquito form, perfect for game days or casual family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken is ideal)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
- 10 to 12 small flour tortillas (fajita size)
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted (or cooking spray)
- Blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing (for serving)
- Celery sticks (for serving)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, and buffalo wing sauce. Mix until well coated.
- Fold in the shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Microwave tortillas in a damp paper towel for 20 to 30 seconds until warm.
- Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture in a line across the center of each tortilla and roll tightly.
- Place rolled taquitos seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush with melted butter or spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through for extra crunch.
- Let cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for convenience. Add more cheese or green onions for extra flavor. Spice it up with additional buffalo sauce if desired.
