Description
Delicious layers of cinnamon roll dough and apple pie filling make this sweet bake a perfect treat for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with icing)
- 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the cinnamon roll dough package instructions.
- In a baking dish, layer one can of cinnamon roll dough on the bottom.
- Spread one can of apple pie filling over the dough.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Repeat another layer with the second can of cinnamon roll dough and the second can of apple pie filling.
- Top with any remaining cinnamon roll dough pieces.
- Bake in the preheated oven as per the dough package instructions, until golden brown.
- Drizzle the icing from the cinnamon roll package over the top before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Serve it warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a cup of coffee. To store, let it cool, cover, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
