Description

Delicious layers of cinnamon roll dough and apple pie filling make this sweet bake a perfect treat for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with icing)
  • 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cinnamon roll dough package instructions.
  2. In a baking dish, layer one can of cinnamon roll dough on the bottom.
  3. Spread one can of apple pie filling over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  5. Repeat another layer with the second can of cinnamon roll dough and the second can of apple pie filling.
  6. Top with any remaining cinnamon roll dough pieces.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven as per the dough package instructions, until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle the icing from the cinnamon roll package over the top before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve it warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a cup of coffee. To store, let it cool, cover, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
