Description
A cool and mild salad featuring tuna, peas, pickles, and a creamy mayonnaise dressing, perfect for picnics and quick meals.
Ingredients
- 1 box Elbow Macaroni (cooked & cooled)
- 2 cans StarKist Tuna (drained thoroughly)
- 1 cup Mayonnaise (Hellmann’s or Best Foods)
- 1 can Sweet Peas (drained)
- 1/2 cup Dill Pickles (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions, then drain and cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, drained tuna, mayonnaise, sweet peas, and chopped dill pickles.
- Stir until evenly mixed.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, chill the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving. Rinse pasta under cold water for quick cooling. Add lemon wedges for a fresh touch.
