Description

A delicious and versatile dip that adds excitement to any gathering, perfect for chips, veggies, or as a sandwich spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Dry Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp Ground Cumin
  • ¼ tsp Smoked Paprika
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ cup Fresh Cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
  • Optional: 1 Tbsp finely diced jalapeño (for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, and fresh lime juice until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Add the dry ranch seasoning packet, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir vigorously until the spices are mixed well into the cream base.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped cilantro and sliced green onions.
  4. If you like a bit of heat, mix in the diced jalapeños at this point.
  5. For the best flavor, let the dip chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. After chilling, give the dip a final stir and transfer it to a serving bowl. Garnish as desired.

Notes

Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will intensify as it sits.
