Description
A creamy and savory spinach artichoke dip made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for gatherings and parties.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened and cubed
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 10 oz Frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed and squeezed very dry
- 14 oz Canned Artichoke Hearts, drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup Diced Onion (optional, for texture)
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Prepare the spinach by squeezing out all excess water to avoid a watery dip.
- Lightly grease the inside of a slow cooker to prevent sticking.
- Add the cubed cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped artichokes, and dried spinach into the cooker.
- Stir in the mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on LOW for 2 hours or on HIGH for 1 hour.
- Once done, stir to combine everything into a smooth, creamy dip. Adjust the consistency with milk if necessary.
- Keep on the WARM setting for serving and garnish as desired.
Notes
Squeeze out all water from the spinach for thick dip; can add more cheese and spices to taste. For variation, swap artichokes for roasted red peppers or use different cheeses.
