Description

Quick and easy frozen chicken thighs cooked in the air fryer, yielding juicy meat with crispy skin.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin on)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer for 3 minutes at 395°F (200°C).
  2. Place the frozen chicken thighs, skin facing down, evenly across the air fryer basket so they aren’t touching. Cook for 10 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
  3. Combine the rapeseed oil with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  4. After 10 minutes, flip the chicken with tongs so that the skin is facing up. Coat the skin with the spice/oil mix, then return to the air fryer for 15 to 18 minutes at 360°F (180°C) until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. For extra flavor, baste the skin with the juices from the bottom of the air fryer basket when there’s 10 minutes left.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Best served immediately with sides like steamed vegetables, rice, or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
