Description
Delicious roasted Brussels sprouts that are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, making them a perfect healthy side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and place a rack in the upper third of the oven.
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices. Mix gently until evenly coated.
- Spread Brussels sprouts into a single layer with cut sides down.
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until charred and crisp on the outside and tender inside, tossing halfway and rotating the pan for even cooking.
- Season to taste and enjoy immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add balsamic glaze or sprinkle with Parmesan cheese just before serving.
