A delightful and aromatic mocktail combining refreshing pomegranate and fragrant rosemary, perfect for cozy gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 packages fresh rosemary
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 to 5 whole cloves (optional)
- 2 to 3 ounces rosemary simple syrup
- 2 to 3 ounces pomegranate juice (or cranberry juice)
- 2 to 3 ounces club soda
- Ice
- Fresh cranberries or rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the water, sugar, fresh rosemary, and cloves. Bring to a low boil and let simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
- Strain the syrup using a fine mesh strainer to separate the rosemary leaves and cloves. Let it cool and store in glass jars in the fridge.
- To serve, fill a glass with ice, pour in the rosemary syrup, pomegranate juice, and club soda. Stir gently to combine and taste to adjust sweetness.
- Add a sprig of rosemary or fresh cranberries for garnish and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the sweetness to your preference by altering the syrup amount. Chill glasses beforehand for an extra refreshing experience.
