Description

Quick and elegant chocolate covered strawberries perfect for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs strawberries (washed and dried, stems left on)
  • 10 oz chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet, milk chocolate, or white chocolate morsels)


Instructions

  1. Ensure the strawberries are clean and fully dried.
  2. Pour chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Dip strawberries by holding the stem and twisting to coat in chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  4. Place strawberries on parchment paper. Optionally, decorate with festive toppings.
  5. Drizzle with contrasting chocolate if desired.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Dry strawberries well before dipping to help chocolate stick. Use room-temperature chocolate for a smooth coat. Heat chocolate in short bursts and stir to avoid burning. Use parchment paper to stop sticking. Chill briefly to set the chocolate faster.
