Quick and elegant chocolate covered strawberries perfect for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs strawberries (washed and dried, stems left on)
- 10 oz chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet, milk chocolate, or white chocolate morsels)
Instructions
- Ensure the strawberries are clean and fully dried.
- Pour chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip strawberries by holding the stem and twisting to coat in chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place strawberries on parchment paper. Optionally, decorate with festive toppings.
- Drizzle with contrasting chocolate if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Dry strawberries well before dipping to help chocolate stick. Use room-temperature chocolate for a smooth coat. Heat chocolate in short bursts and stir to avoid burning. Use parchment paper to stop sticking. Chill briefly to set the chocolate faster.
