A simple and sweet treat perfect for Valentine’s Day, featuring fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients
- 16 oz strawberries
- 12 oz baking chocolate or chocolate chunks
- 4 oz white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Wash and pat dry the strawberries.
- Chop the baking chocolate into smaller pieces if needed. Melt in the microwave on 50% power for 1 minute, stir, then continue melting in 30-second increments until smooth.
- Holding the leafy end of the strawberry, dip it into the melted chocolate and place it on a plate lined with parchment paper. Repeat for all strawberries.
- Set aside the chocolate-dipped strawberries in the refrigerator.
- Optional: Consume the rest of the melted chocolate.
- Melt the white chocolate in the microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds, stirring until smooth.
- Place the melted white chocolate into a zip lock bag and snip a small opening.
- Remove strawberries from the refrigerator and drizzle white chocolate over them.
- Refrigerate the strawberries for 10 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Dry the strawberries well to ensure the chocolate sticks properly, and avoid freezing the finished product to maintain texture.
