Description

A simple and sweet treat perfect for Valentine’s Day, featuring fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz strawberries
  • 12 oz baking chocolate or chocolate chunks
  • 4 oz white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry the strawberries.
  2. Chop the baking chocolate into smaller pieces if needed. Melt in the microwave on 50% power for 1 minute, stir, then continue melting in 30-second increments until smooth.
  3. Holding the leafy end of the strawberry, dip it into the melted chocolate and place it on a plate lined with parchment paper. Repeat for all strawberries.
  4. Set aside the chocolate-dipped strawberries in the refrigerator.
  5. Optional: Consume the rest of the melted chocolate.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds, stirring until smooth.
  7. Place the melted white chocolate into a zip lock bag and snip a small opening.
  8. Remove strawberries from the refrigerator and drizzle white chocolate over them.
  9. Refrigerate the strawberries for 10 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
  10. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Dry the strawberries well to ensure the chocolate sticks properly, and avoid freezing the finished product to maintain texture.
