- 1 pound broccoli florets, cut into small, evenly sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar (optional)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- Add the water to the bottom of the air fryer, then add the broccoli. Let it cook for 4 minutes.
- Remove the basket, toss the broccoli, and return it to the air fryer. Continue cooking for 4 to 8 additional minutes until crispy and tender.
- Serve immediately, or if adding toppings, transfer broccoli back to the mixing bowl and top with lemon zest, lemon juice, Parmesan, and/or red pepper flakes. Stir to coat.
Notes
