A delicious and simple dish that combines the classic flavors of Caesar salad with tender chicken breasts, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1½ cups Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup Caesar salad dressing
  • ½ cup sour cream (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray the inside of an 8×11″ baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ to 1 inch using a meat pounder.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken breasts with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper. Place them in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Whisk together the Caesar dressing and sour cream in a small bowl. Pour this mixture over each chicken breast, making sure they are well-coated. Sprinkle additional grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Bake the chicken in the oven at 375°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Broil the chicken for an additional 2 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Check if the chicken has reached 165°F at the thickest part with a meat thermometer. Remove it from the oven, cover loosely with foil, and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Pound the chicken to an even thickness for even cooking. Use fresh Parmesan for the best flavor.
