A simple, cheesy casserole dish that’s perfect for families on a budget, easy to prepare, and loved by both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (any shape)
  • 1 can (15 oz) of mixed vegetables (drained)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the pasta, mixed vegetables, cheese (reserve some for topping), cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the reserved cheese on top. If you like, you can also add breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Pairs nicely with a garden salad or crusty bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
