An easy and scrumptious pumpkin bread made with cake mix, perfect for autumn.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pumpkin puree, water, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir until smooth.
- Fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter to avoid a dense loaf. Bake time may vary in dark pans; check earlier if needed.
