Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Pork Sausage
- 12 to 15 oz Pimento Cheese
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- Optional Garnish: Sliced green onions or extra pimentos
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and cooked through, breaking it into small crumbles.
- Drain off excess grease.
- Reduce heat to low, and stir in softened cream cheese and pimento cheese until melted and smooth.
- If too thick, add a splash of milk or a tablespoon of heavy cream.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with green onions if desired.
- Serve immediately with sturdy crackers, toasted baguette slices, or celery sticks.
