Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box White Cake Mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 box (3oz) Strawberry Jell-O
  • Eggs (as required by cake mix)
  • Oil (as required by cake mix)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions, adding in the necessary eggs and oil.
  2. Bake the cake in a greased pan as directed and allow it to cool.
  3. Once the cake is cooled, use a fork to poke holes all over the top.
  4. In a separate bowl, dissolve the Strawberry Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water, then stir in 1/2 cup of cold water.
  5. Pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake, making sure it seeps into the holes.
  6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or until set.
