A refreshing pasta salad with summer ingredients, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pasta
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Sourdough breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
  2. Combine the cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, and fresh basil in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cooled pasta to the bowl and mix gently.
  4. Mix olive oil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl, then pour over the pasta salad and toss to coat.
  5. Top with homemade sourdough breadcrumbs for added crunch.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe cherry tomatoes for the best flavor. Feel free to add mozzarella balls or olives for extra taste. Make sure the pasta is cooled before adding to the other ingredients.
