A delightful dish combining garlic butter, tender steak, and spicy Cajun flavors with creamy pasta, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak (or chicken/turkey)
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sear them until they are browned on all sides. Once done, remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the butter. Allow it to melt, then stir in the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning. Let this mixture simmer until it thickens slightly.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet. Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese and the seared steak bites until everything is well mixed.

Notes

For best flavor, season steak bites well with salt and pepper. Don’t overcook the steak to keep it juicy. Can substitute sirloin steak with chicken or turkey.
