Ingredients
Scale
1 cup almond flour
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the glaze: 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
Combine almond flour, protein powder, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, almond milk, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave or double boiler while the donuts cool.
Dip the top of each cooled donut in the chocolate glaze and let set before serving.
Notes
For best results, measure ingredients accurately and allow donuts to cool before glazing.
