Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • 1 Egg (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a slice of pepperoni and some mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  4. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Fold the dough over to form a roll, pinching the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
