Description
A simple, sweet, and savory pork chop dinner ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 2 tablespoons oil
- ¼ cup real maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
- 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Optional: Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil.
- Place the pork chops in the hot skillet and sear for about 4–5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- While the chops cook, mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet with the chops and cook for 3–5 more minutes, spooning the sauce over the chops until well coated and glaze thickens.
- Let the chops rest for a minute, then serve garnished with fresh thyme if desired.
Notes
Pat chops dry before searing for a better crust. Do not overcrowd the pan; give each chop space to brown. Use real maple syrup for the best flavor.
