Ingredients
- 3 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/3 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
- Heat olive oil and melt butter together in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side, then set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Deglaze the pan with chicken stock, then stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
- Add chili flakes, thyme, and oregano; let simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet and stir in sundried tomatoes; simmer until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, simmer longer to reduce the cream. Adjust seasonings based on personal taste.
