A deliciously comforting dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce served over linguine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs), cubed
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the garlic and cubing the chicken.
  2. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the cubed chicken seasoned with salt and pepper, cooking until golden brown.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and smoked paprika; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and cream, scraping up brown bits from the skillet. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Toss the cooked linguine into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency. Finish with parsley and lemon juice.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with parsley and a sprinkle of lemon juice. Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
