Description

A playful twist on classic burgers, these Smash Burger Tacos combine juicy beef, melty cheese, and tangy sauce wrapped in soft tortillas.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped dill pickles
  • ½ teaspoon pickle juice
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • â…› teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 6 flour tortillas (street taco size)
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Burger pickles (optional)
  • Other toppings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the mayo, ketchup, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir until creamy and well-combined.
  2. Make the Burger Patties: In another bowl, add the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Mix by hand until just combined. Divide into 6 equal-sized balls and set aside.
  3. Gather Your Ingredients: Prepare your tortillas, cheese, and toppings.
  4. Preheat Your Griddle: Heat your flat top griddle on medium-high. Place your beef balls on the griddle and flatten each ball using a burger press.
  5. Flip and Cheesy Up: Flip the patties and top each with a slice of cheese. Place tortillas on the grill to warm.
  6. Assemble Your Tacos: Flip the tortillas, place patties on them, and top with burger sauce, shredded lettuce, and pickles.
  7. Enjoy: Serve hot and savor the flavors with friends and family!

Notes
