Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb 80/20 Ground Beef
- 1 Large Yellow Onion (optional)
- ¼ cup Avocado Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- 8 slices American Cheese (optional)
- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- ¼ cup Barbecue Sauce
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Sriracha
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and sriracha. Stir until creamy and well-blended.
- Take the ground beef and gently form it into 4 balls, about 4 ounces each.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in the avocado oil.
- Place the beef balls in the skillet, smash each down into a patty, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes until crispy brown, then add slices of cheese on top and cover to melt.
- Toast the buns in a separate pan or toaster until lightly toasted.
- Assemble the burgers with the burger sauce, cheesy patties, and any desired toppings.
Notes
Experiment with toppings for a personalized touch. Use high-fat ground beef for juicy burgers.
